Ayyappan Temple
Ayyappa Bhajan Samaj came into existence at Bhopal in 1977 (Regn. No. 8378). Bhopal Keralites from all walks of life wanted to construct a temple to worship with clean and purified mind and make others joyful and kind. This temple of Lord AYYAPPA with Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswathi as upadevathas have been built-up and the “Pranaprathishta” of above dieties were held in the year 1992 with vedic poojas. Since then all the traditional poojas are being performed daily by a ‘Thirumeni’ from families of Kerala Poojaris.
Ayyappa Bhajan Samaj, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal (popularly known as ‘ABS Bhopal’), has been formed with an objective to promote Kerala culture and spiritualism. The Samajam is not only promoting spiritual and philosophical thoughts, but also engaged in commendable social, cultural and literary services in respective fields. ABS Bhopal is helping desolate and destitute by giving food, baby food to little ones, warm clothes to the needy; all possible helps to the inmates of Seva Sadan, Jehangirabad, Bhopal etc. Also organizing free medical check-up camps frequently and distributing free medicines. For the last 15 years, we are distributing awards and certificates to the meritorious wards of the members of the Samajam for 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th classes on the eve of Vijayadashmi Day.
ABS is providing books and other study material to destitute students. The samajam is also engaged in many social activities such as distributing medicines and financial help to patients and weaker sections.

MANDALA POOJA BEGINS FROM 17.11.23.
Devotees are requested to attend all poojas from morning to till end in large numbers and invoke the blessings of Lord Ayyappa Swamy.
Devotees can book Bhajanas till 15.1.2024 and also can book Prasadam Oottu/Kanji Sadhya during entire Mandalam Makaravilakku periods. Chenda Vadhyam from vrichikam 1st to 12th vilakku and other important days by Swamikal AV Jawahar, MD Prakash, VK Nair. All pooja materials are available in temple office.
